Meet our team in love

Lucie Ingrová

ARTISTIC LEADER, ACTRESS AND DIRECTOR   Born in Brno, graduated from JAMU in drama acting. She has worked at the Buranteatr Theatre, Divadlo Feste Theatre, Horácké divadlo Theatre, Facka Theatre, Chemické divadlo Theatre, Divadlo Lampion Theatre, Divadlo Bratří Formanů Theatre… From musicals and the big theatre scene, she got to the smaller, alternative, independent scenes and she is doing well there. Gradually she added directing to acting, which became her new love. She lives and works mostly in Prague. She collaborates with several independent theatre entities, records, hosts, does stand-up comedy and is part of the Konsent organization. She works as an artistic director at Divadlo Láska Theatre.

Otto Kauppinen

DRAMATURG, TRANSLATOR, AUTHOR   He is of Finnish-Czech origin. He studied theatre dramaturgy at JAMU. He is currently doing his PhD there about politicality of spectator´s participation. Previously, he worked as a dramaturg at Divadlo Feste Theatre, and has also co-worked with Divadlo Continuo Theatre for a long time. He has translated sixteen contemporary Finnish plays into Czech. In 2015, he received the first prize of the Evald Schorm Award for his translations. He is a member of the interdisciplinary artistic group Agronauts* Collective, whose work straddles the border between art and environmental activism.

Marian Schüller

MASTER OF SOUND AND LIGHTS   At the beginning of his fascination with cassette recorders, which led to a love of recording, was his mother’s Sanyo M18. He graduated from the Construction Industry School and Jindra Varhan’s Spectrum sound school. He first worked with FAMU and filmmakers, and later began working with theatre, stage and chamber sound. Since 2020 he has been a sound engineer in the New Phonograph project in the tape department. His talent, however, extends even further and at the Divadlo Láska Theatre he is responsible for sound and light design.

Matěj Kotouček

MUSIC COMPOSER, SOUND ARTIST   Participates in the operation of Noise.kitchen, a Prague-based specialist shop for modular synthesizers. He was in charge of the Brno-based label Nona records and has worked musically in several projects: as one half of the improvisation duo Thistle, as a member of the art collective AVA, previously he was operating under the banner of the Sky To Speak ensemble, and currently is operating under the solo name Loops Of Decay. He has also been involved in theatre production and computer game music.

Daniel Možnar  

PRODUCER, ACTOR   He was born in Hranice, now lives Prague and considers himself more of an Earthling than a Czech. He works as an actor, presenter and freelance artist. He has been working for a long time with the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and with the Divadlo Feste Theatre in Brno, in the past with the Moving Station in Pilsen, and has participated in many other projects, mostly independent. In recent years he has been developing his creative, directing and producing skills not only in the theatre sphere, but across the whole independent culture.

František Širůček 

FUNDRAISING, PRODUCTION   Born in Brno, he studied at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague and business management at the Czech University of Life Sciences. He has been working as a manager in a trading company for six years. His big dream was to get involved in a project that makes sense to him and contribute to it with everything he learned as a business manager. And so he found his way to Divadlo Láska Theatre. He is also involved in a number of social projects and youth work.

Daniel Herman

PATRON, ACTOR   He served as Czech Minister of Culture for the KDU-ČSL party in Bohuslav Sobotka’s coalition government (2014-2017) and was born in České Budějovice. He has been working for many years on human rights issues and efforts to right the wrongs of the past. In addition to his human rights and cultural activities, he is also the Honorary Consul of the Principality of Liechtenstein in the Czech Republic. He serves as a patron of the Divadlo Láska Theatre and contributed significantly to the creation of the theatre itself. At the same time, you can see him in a completely new and unexpected role, that of an actor.

Sarah Haváčová

ACTRESS   She is a drama and film actress. She graduated from JAMU in 2014. She has been freelancing in Prague for six years. She studied at an acting school in Krakow, Poland, guest-acted in state theatres in Germany (Nuremberg, Augsburg), and is currently working on seven Prague stages (besides Divadlo Láska Theatre, for example, at the National Theatre). For her role of Luisa in the play After the End of the World at Divadlo Bez zábradlí Theatre, she received a wider nomination for the Thalia Award in 2019. In the film field, she has collaborated with Jan Hřebejk, Tomáš Mašín and Petr Bebjak.

František Čachotský

ACTOR   He comes from Hodonín. He studied acting at the College of Higher Education in Prague. He was a guest in Švandovo divadlo Theatre, part of the Divadlo Extrém Theatre, and for several years he was engaged in the North Moravian Theatre in Šumperk. Now he is engaged in the Divadlo Lampion Theatre in Kladno. He also cooperates with AQUALUNG Theatre and Kardio Theatre. He has acted in several television films and series. He plays clarinet and guitar very well. He has a major moral credit in the Divadlo Láska Theatre, as there is always a good vibe around him.

Marie Jansová

ACTRESS   Graduated in acting at the JAMU in Brno. She has worked with Theaterhaus Stuttgart, Divadlo NaHraně Theatre, Divadlo Feste Theatre, Divadlo NoD Theatre, Meetfactory, Tajemství boat Theatre, Goose on a String Theatre, Studio Hrdinů, Divadlo Na zábradlí Theatre, Činoherní studio, Brno´s (Reduta) and Prague’s National Theatre. She has performed at international theatre festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe and the Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogotá. At the Mumbai International Film Festival she won the award for Best Actress in the film A Touch of Concrete. Apart from Divadlo Láska Theatre, she is a member of the Divadlo Lampion Theatre ensemble and guest artist at Kladno City Theatre.
